Acerca de la quiropráctica

La atención quiropráctica es muy apreciada por sus resultados científicamente probados en el tratamiento/ayuda con el dolor de espalda, dolor de cuello, dolores de cabeza, mala postura, ciática y ciertas/muchas otras condiciones. También es importante tener en cuenta que la atención quiropráctica puede brindar atención preventiva práctica para optimizar la salud y el bienestar general de una persona.
Su quiropráctico debe haber completado un curso de maestría o posgrado de tiempo completo de 5 años reconocido por el Consejo General de Quiropráctica.
En el Reino Unido, la quiropráctica es una profesión regulada. Al igual que los médicos y dentistas, todos los quiroprácticos están registrados por ley en virtud de la Ley de Quiroprácticos de 1994, y el título de ‘Quiropráctico’ está protegido por esta legislación. La profesión está reglamentada por ley a través del Consejo General de Quiropráctica (GCC) y es ilegal ejercer como quiropráctico sin estar registrado en el GCC.
Tratamiento
Si se indica como seguro y necesario, el quiropráctico puede decidir (a su discreción) ajustar en su primera visita. Sin embargo, esto no es una práctica normal.
Por lo general, la consulta inicial toma alrededor de 30 minutos, mientras que un ajuste toma entre 5 y 15 minutos. Ocasionalmente, estas sesiones pueden extenderse según surja la necesidad según la condición y las necesidades de su cuerpo.
La condición y la experiencia de cada paciente son únicas, por lo que el tiempo de curación de cada paciente también será único. Su recuperación depende de muchos factores, como la edad, la extensión y el tiempo que ha tenido el problema, la capacidad de su cuerpo para adaptarse al cambio que ha introducido la quiropráctica (la capacidad de su cuerpo para recuperarse), así como su propio compromiso. a cualquier ejercicio de rehabilitación y tratamientos de seguimiento que su quiropráctico pueda recomendar. Los quiroprácticos no solo se enfocan en el manejo del dolor, también se enfocan en solucionar la causa raíz de su dolor, para que no regrese en el futuro. Por lo general, debe esperar ver algo de alivio del dolor en los primeros tratamientos. Sin embargo, dependiendo del nivel de salud y calidad de vida que desee lograr, la atención quiropráctica podría ser a largo plazo.
Nada de lo que haga un quiropráctico debería lastimarte y no debería haber ningún dolor durante un ajuste quiropráctico. Los procedimientos de tratamiento se eligen específicamente para cada paciente, teniendo en cuenta la comodidad, el estado y el estado de progreso del paciente. A la mayoría de nuestros pacientes les encanta que los ajusten y no experimentan ningún dolor. Sin embargo, si tiene una dolencia crónica o si sufre espasmos musculares agudos, es posible que experimente una leve molestia no persistente porque se están introduciendo cambios estructurales en partes de su cuerpo que han estado fijas/pegadas durante mucho tiempo. El dolor posterior al tratamiento puede ser común en algunos, ya que su cuerpo se está adaptando al cambio.
Existe la idea errónea de que ya no puede visitar a un quiropráctico para recibir atención después de una cirugía de columna. De hecho, la atención quiropráctica específica puede ser beneficiosa para estas personas. En los casos previos a la cirugía, el tratamiento temprano puede evitar una intervención invasiva grave y, si es necesario, su quiropráctico está capacitado para reconocer las condiciones que deben derivarse a otro lugar. La atención quiropráctica también es extremadamente segura en casos posteriores a la cirugía. La cirugía de columna puede causar una alineación incorrecta y una rigidez muscular extrema que el cuidado quiropráctico preciso puede resolver.
